Compress PDF Online – Reduce File Size to 100KB, 200KB or Your Own Limit

How It Works

Tips for Best Results
Use Low compression first if readability matters, such as contracts or forms with small print. Move to Balanced or High only if the file is still too big.
If a portal has a hard limit, use Compress to a specific size and set the target slightly below the limit, for example 190KB for a 200KB limit. That leaves a safety margin.
Scanned PDFs made of photos compress less easily than text PDFs. If a scan will not reach a very small limit, try High compression, or re-scan at a lower resolution.
Remove pages you do not need before compressing. Fewer pages means a smaller file. You can use the Split PDF tool to do this.
If the file has many large images, resizing the images first can help the PDF shrink further.
Always open the compressed file and check that the text is readable before uploading it anywhere important.
Do not compress an already compressed file again and again. Quality drops each time, and the size barely changes after the first pass.
