Guide
Convert JPG to PDF Online: Free JPG to PDF Converter
To convert JPG to PDF for free, upload one or more JPG or supported image files to PdfPeaks, arrange the pages, choose the paper size, orientation and margins, then click Convert to PDF. Each image becomes a page in one PDF that you can download. No account or software installation is required.
Convert JPG images to PDF in seconds with PdfPeaks. Upload one photo or multiple images, arrange the pages in the order you need, choose your paper size, orientation and margins, and create a single PDF ready to download.
Whether you are preparing documents for a university, bank, job application, visa application, office, school or personal records, turning several photos into one PDF can make submission much easier. You can combine CNIC photos, receipts, certificates, assignments, forms, screenshots, invoices and other images into one properly ordered document.
PdfPeaks supports JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP and TIFF images, so you can mix different image formats in the same PDF. You can upload existing images from your computer or phone, or use the camera option to capture document pages directly.
Choose Your PDF Page Size
Choose the paper size that matches your purpose.
Fit keeps each PDF page matched to the image size. It is useful when you want to preserve the original proportions without adding unnecessary white space.
A4 is a common choice for applications, certificates, assignments, office documents and printing.
Letter and Legal are useful when the recipient specifically requires US paper sizes.
A3 is suitable for larger images, drawings, posters and documents that need more page area.
Set Orientation and Margins
Choose Auto, Portrait or Landscape for the PDF orientation.
Auto follows the orientation of each image, which is useful when your upload contains both portrait and landscape photos.
Portrait works well for documents and standard paperwork, while Landscape is useful for wide photographs, drawings and other horizontal content.
You can also choose No margin, Small or Big. No margin allows the image to extend closer to the page edges, while larger margins provide additional white space for printing.
Clean Scans Before Creating the PDF
Clean scan is designed for photographs of physical documents. It can improve the appearance of a page by detecting document edges, cropping unwanted areas, straightening a tilted page, reducing shadows and improving readability.
Additional scan options can be used when needed, including auto enhancement, document-edge detection, auto-straightening, shadow removal, wavy-line correction and black-and-white output.
Choose the enhancement filter that best matches your document. Color keeps the original colors, while grayscale and black-and-white are useful for simpler printed documents.
Clean Scan takes longer than normal image-to-PDF conversion, especially when processing several pages.
Convert Images to Searchable Text with OCR
Digital text (OCR) is designed for clear, typed documents. Instead of keeping the page only as an image, OCR reads the text and recreates it on the selected PDF page.
OCR is useful when you need text that can be searched or copied from the PDF. It works best with clear printed text. Handwriting, stamps, unusual layouts and decorative fonts may not be recognized accurately, so always review important names, numbers and document details before submitting the file.
For a normal photo conversion, OCR is not necessary.
Edit Pages Before Converting
You can make simple changes to individual uploaded pages before creating your PDF.
Hover over a page thumbnail to rotate, crop or remove it. The image editor can be used to crop unwanted areas or cover parts of an image with white using the erase tool.
Use these editing options to correct small problems before conversion, such as a tilted photo, unnecessary borders or unwanted areas around a document.
Scan Documents with Your Camera
Use Scan with camera when you need to turn physical documents into a PDF directly from your phone or computer camera.
Allow camera access, position the document clearly, and capture each page. Every captured page is added to your image list, where you can reorder, edit and convert the pages just like uploaded files.
For document photos, good lighting and a straight camera position can make a major difference. Keep the device parallel to the paper and avoid casting shadows across the page.
Merge Multiple JPG Images into One PDF
Upload multiple images to create a multi-page PDF. The order of the thumbnails determines the page order in the final document.
Drag pages into the position you want, or use A–Z sorting when your files already have useful names such as page-1, page-2 and page-3.
You can also add more files after the initial upload instead of starting again.
Manage Large PDF Files
A photo-heavy PDF can become large, especially when the source images are high resolution.
If a website or application has a strict upload limit, create the PDF first and then use PdfPeaks Compress PDF to reduce the final file size.
You can also reduce the image size before conversion with Compress Image. For CNICs, passports, certificates and other documents containing small text, avoid excessive compression because readability is more important than a small file size.
How It Works
- Select your images. Click Select images, drag and drop files onto the page, or use Scan with camera to capture document pages.
- Arrange the pages. Drag thumbnails into the correct order, use A–Z sorting when appropriate, or hover over a page to rotate, crop or remove it.
- Choose your page settings. Select Fit, A4, Letter, Legal or A3, then choose Auto, Portrait or Landscape and set the required margins.
- Use optional processing. Turn on Clean scan when you are working with photographed paper documents, or use Digital text (OCR) when you need typed text converted into searchable PDF content.
- Create the PDF. Click Convert to PDF and download the finished document. Each image becomes a page in the final PDF.
Security & Privacy
- Your files are transferred over an encrypted HTTPS connection and are used to create your PDF. No account is required to use the converter.
- Uploaded images and the generated PDF are automatically deleted from the servers shortly after processing and are not permanently stored or shared with third parties.
- For sensitive documents such as CNICs, certificates, bank records and other personal paperwork, only upload files you are authorized to handle and remove downloaded copies from shared devices when you are finished.
Common Use Cases
- Combine the front and back photos of a CNIC into a PDF for a job, bank or visa application
